Creating a Factory Account

This page walks through the complete process of setting up a Factory account, from initial signup to completing your registration.

Step 1: Navigate to the Login Page

Start by accessing the Factory login page at https://factoy.manufactai.com or your specific instance URL. You'll see the main login screen with the Factory logo and a blue-themed interface.

Step 2: Begin the Registration Process

1. On the login screen, locate and click the "Sign Up" button at the bottom of the form.
2. This will take you to the initial signup page where you'll need to provide basic information.

Step 3: Enter Initial Registration Details

On the signup page:

1. Complete the following fields:
   • First Name
   • Last Name
   • Email Address
2. Click the blue "Sign Up" button to proceed.

Step 4: Check Your Email

After submitting the initial form:

1. Check your email account for a verification email from Factory.
2. The email will contain a verification link that you need to click to continue the registration process.

Step 5: Complete Your Registration

After clicking the verification link, you'll be directed to the final registration page:

1. Create a username (3-15 characters, lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only)
2. Set a password (minimum 8 characters)
3. Confirm your password by entering it again
4. Enter your company details:
   • Company Name
   • Company URL
   • Company Size (select from dropdown)
   • Your Role (select from dropdown)
5. Read and check the "I accept the Terms and Conditions" box
6. Click the blue "Complete Registration" button

Step 6: Access Your Factory Account

Once registration is complete, you'll be logged into your new Factory account and can begin using the platform.

Troubleshooting

• If you don't receive the verification email, check your spam folder
• Ensure your password meets the minimum requirements (8+ characters)
• Make sure all required fields are completed on each form
